Common questions
If your question is not answered here, write to us – we reply within one business day.
Do I need to travel to Poland or speak Polish?
Not at all. The entire service operates in English and is fully remote. We communicate with Polish authorities, registries, and offices entirely on your behalf.
How long does it take to receive my documents?
Most vital records and extracts are delivered within 2–4 weeks. Citizenship confirmation typically takes 3–6 months, depending on the Voivode’s office and archive availability.
Are the documents legally valid outside Poland?
Yes. Every document we obtain is issued directly by an official Polish civil registry office or state authority. We add apostille certification and sworn translation where required for international use.
What if my ancestor changed or anglicised their surname?
This is very common, especially among emigrants to the USA, Canada, and Australia. We specialise in tracing original Polish name variants and finding the correct records even when surnames were significantly changed.
What information do I need to provide to order?
The more you have, the better – but we can often work with very little. For vital records, the person’s full name and the approximate year and place of the event is usually enough to begin the search.
Can you help with a Księga Wieczysta for an inherited property?
Yes. We can retrieve the full land register extract for any Polish property, confirm ownership status, check for mortgages or encumbrances, and assist with the full inheritance documentation.
